For the first time in the region, Corso Pilota Sport unfolded at Yas Marina Circuit – marking a new chapter in Ferrari’s pursuit of performance in the Middle East. Designed to offer participants a first taste of driving on track while enhancing their skills and building confidence. Over the two days, Ferraristi experienced the art of performance driving at its most refined, under the guidance of Ferrari’s official instructors.

The programme opened with focused theory sessions introducing the fundamentals of sport driving – posture, steering technique, braking dynamics, and weight transfer. Using AR headsets, participants experienced an immersive view of the circuit, learning ideal driving lines and understanding how load transfers influence vehicle behaviour. Each principle was then translated into practice on the track, where instructor demonstrations preceded individual driving sessions. Divided into four small groups, Ferraristi received targeted coaching to maximise progression at every stage.

Behind the wheel of the Ferrari 296 GTB, drivers alternated between the track and skid pad, exploring acceleration control, corner entry precision, vehicle balance, and handling the car in the wet with low grip as well. Each exercise was crafted to build confidence and consistency – transforming theory into instinct.

Advanced tools elevated the experience further. Telemetry analysis, video review, and Ferrari’s unique eye-tracking technology offered each participant a deeper understanding of their driving technique. With expert feedback from instructors, Ferraristi refined every movement – from throttle modulation to steering accuracy

Day Two concluded with a skill challenge on the skid pad – a dynamic test of precision and control that encapsulated the progress achieved across the course. At the end of the programme, each participant was presented with an official Corso Pilota certificate – a symbol of their first experience as a race driver.
